@arielkroon@academicchatter even just promoting #MutualAid as a concept. In order to build resilience, we have to re-form community care. Mutual aid as a philosophy and as a practice seems to be our best shot at developing those links.
We need to move away from seeing people as only worth helping if they're "useful" especially considering how many people are so stuck in the cycle of poverty that they literally can't spare any energy. Give people support and see how their choices change.
