As much as I love it here, I think it would be difficult for a band to promote themselves with Mastodon. It takes work to get exposure here, and there are other platforms where it is easier.
@DXMacGuffin@Kitty@SteveClough need to agree. Maybe we can focus on "Underdogs" and then see how it's going? It might be easier to get the attention of small / unknown bands. Bands who are not used to large scale marketing.
I'm going to buy some of the great #MetalMusic that I've got on wishlist.
I'm gonna mention in my purchase message to the band/artist that I found out about them through metalhead.club and how it would be awesome if they joined us on there. 🎸
