TLDR: don't have an address to get things delivered and am looking for a store that sells switches, from NYC/Philly area.
Kind of a unique situation. I moved out my old place and am waiting for housing to open up to get into a new place (I'm military). Right before I left my new keyboard and keycaps got delivered. It's going to be a month+ before I'm assigned housing and don't want to wait that long.
I'll be driving through NYC and I would think there's some kind of walk-in store somewhere I could goto so I can build this board but Google maps shows nothing. Any ideas?
With great pleassure i present you my most recent creation: the Cherry Ergo Teal. I took Cherry MX Clears that i already lubed, took them apart, replaced the spring with a durock 67g, took the stems out and got a geon teal slider stems instead. And damn they feel good now and the sound is great too.
Will need a good board to test them. Have not done much switch modding in the last months, but the Clear Stems were giving me such a hard time and having hand lubed switches did already cost me so much time.
How similar is the Glorious Panda switch to the Holy Panda? Been seeing it around and they sound fantastic. Back when the Holy Pandas came out I couldn’t afford the keyboard hobby but now I can.
