In the archaeological digs that are my storage rooms, I found two treasures! These additional adventures of the fedora-wearing, gun-toting, Nazi-punching Professor with a whip were penned by Rob MacGregor and would be lovely additions to any Indiana Jones collection.

A reminder, in the ongoing WGA/SAG-AFTRA strike... Without the talented artists & craftspeople who make movies & shows, there won't be any future original classics, just A.I. ripping off and regurgitating things an algorithm deems popular. How would it know? It hasn't any real friends.
Music, writing, singing, acting, and graphic design... All forms of Art. This treasure is here now, with plenty of other charming goodies, to kick off Art In the City weekend.

I forgot book photos again. I often save interesting features from my book pics. I've created this filler image from patterns found on 2 old paperbacks. Consider it a peek at the ever shifting landscape inside a bookseller's brain. Enjoy, if it doesn't cause eyestrain.
I have difficulty keeping any editions of Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. books in stock, but have recently acquired two collections, including these '70s Dells. If you're looking, now's the time to stop in!
The Dayton region and it's Metro Parks boast the largest network of paved recreational/bike trails in the U.S. We also have this immense fountain display. And I'm over here with these old books and comics. See my alt-texts & scroll my posts for more info.

The "Dangerous Visions" series, created and edited by the late Harlan Ellison, is highly acclaimed in speculative fiction circles and includes short stories by some of the greatest names in fantasy & sci-fi history. The first was published in 1971, "Again..." in 1972, and a third, titled "Last Dangerous Visions" was planned for 1973, but remains unpublished to date, 50 years later.

Funny thing... In a previous post from our wrecked shed was a box labeled "Good old sci-fi." I have yet to reach that box, and yet, the loose books from the last few posts are AMAZING! I can't wait to see what's in that box.
The shop will be closed Tuesday through Friday next week (July 18th - 21st, 2023). I need to get some dusty, sweaty work done–which doesn't mix well with the customer service aspect of retail.
