Between Majel Roddenberry's appearance as Lwaxana Troi and the relatively major role the DS9 computer had in this story, she pulled double duty for this episode.
@spatula_tattoo@petertrek1@allstartrek That is correct, I don't think she ever talked to herself on DS9, only on TNG. Interestingly, she was overly polite to the Enterprise computer but the opposite when talking to the station's computer.
Thanks for the correction. I did a little more checking online and I stand corrected. The DS9 computer voice was provided by Judi Durant. As you mentioned, Majel Roddenberry voiced the Starfleet ship computers. Thanks.
@MirrorAyako@allstartrek This episode always upsets me. It was supposed to be Nog who went on and on about the Ferengi theory of the Material Continuum. This early episode makes Jake the author of that one.
It's interesting to see how O'Brien and Bashir were more acquaintances rather than friends at this early stage of the show. Their friendship would evolve and develop later.
@petertrek1@allstartrek They weren't just audiences, O'Brien really didn't like him and Bashir was kinda pushy and overly boisterous. I can see why Garak developed such a huge crush on him.
good evening friends!!
Move along home! possibly the low point of DS9's first season. and still better than any episode in TNG's first season. just my opinion of course!
