Partially. The first paragraph is. In Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier, Spock calls them ‘marshmelons’ and Kirk/Bones don’t correct Spock. The part about him on New Vulcan realizing it is hypothetical. For a giggle.

Same here to be honest. It’s a nice piece of headcanon that I feel fits his character. Especially the warmer and older Ambassador Spock we see in the Kelvin movies.

Fuck I think I gotta rewatch those movies now…

Holy shit. I’ve seen that movie a dozen times over my life and never caught he said it wrong lol.
