Buggy Boy (Speed Buggy in the US) feels like a game that deserves to be remembered more fondly. Sadly, it always seems to fall through the cracks between the likes of Outrun, Power Drift and Chase HQ....

Was doing some looking around Goodwill and was lucky enough to find an Original Xbox for only $25! Got it home and cleaned him up, disc drive didn’t work at first but I tinkered and fixed the belt that was getting stuck. Booted up an old copy of Halo 2 and all was well. So happy with this find!

My first love was the ZX Spectrum, but my first salacious affair was with the Sega Master System, many years later....

Gameboy Tetris wasn’t the first Tetris I played (that was Mirrorsoft Tetris on the ZX Spectrum, with its spooky AY theme music), but it is the Tetris I always go back to....

It isn’t an original game for NES but one of my favorites (and really hard 😊). Do you know any retro game characters that I can turn into women?

My old laptop is doing great work as a fedora linux workstation and emulation platform for me on vacation.

For the past 4 years, I’ve been working on this hacked version of Pokemon Crystal....

I love this little device. The solid feeling of the metal casing and the little screen feels good for retro gaming. It has me playing a lot more retro games than I would have ever played otherwise.

PSP version of Ys ark of Napishtim. Have so many systems/games to play I tend to jump between games a lot but this one stuck with me, I loved it. Don’t know how many hours I spent in Canaan, but I had a great time getting to the end. Starting Ys seven now

Was visiting my parents for their 50th anniversary and stumbled upon this gem from my youth. More below....

Here is where I am at. Live in an apartment so space is tight and needed everything to be able to move into the closet. I’ve got SNES, N64, Wii mini, Sega Genesis, PS2, a vcr, receiver and stereo speakers, Extron switcher, and playing them all on a Sony PVM14L5. The rack is from Amazon and most are hooked up via RGB.

This game gets a lot of hype in the Amiga and Atari ST community but it’s labeled as crap everywhere else. In my opinion the game looks great and could have been fun if it didn’t suffer from awful hit detection which just ruins it for me. Most of the time your bullets pass right though the enemies which leads to a lot of...

Turns out the USB-C port fell out. I’ve been very careful with it, no drops and no excessive strain on the port.
