I dont feel the authentic hype that the the previous r/place had, all feels super forced and unnatural, like its scripted

There was this legendary comment on reddit to a thread asking people what would their plan be if they were immortal and got milion dollars, but there was a superintelligent immortal snail also with milion dollars who would want to kill them. I was trying to find it but as far as I can tell OP removed it. Does anyone here have it...

I’ve been chiming in over the last few weeks for some gardening subs I missed. First of all, the app is terrible and the lack of sorting makes it even more garbage....

My guess is that the site will save everyday and then combine it with previous r-slash-place events to create a doctored timelapse.

I love the idea of the fediverse, but the killer feature of reddit is its search results, and so far there doesn’t seem to be much of a public search for lemmy/mastodon. What are some search-friendly sites I could spend my time and money on?

It was one of those few 3rd party Apps that still worked. Apparently dev was in talks with Reddit in obtaining Paid-API-Access, but now they cut off his API-Access mid talks without informing him

SimilarWeb has just released traffic estimates for June. According to these estimates, Reddit’s traffic has seen a 3.36% month-over-month decrease....

Opera GX was showing squares in place of icons and wasn’t working well, so I disabled GX’s adblocker and cleared cache. That logged me out and now this is all that gets loaded in when i go to a post. Does anybody know how to fix it?...

Hypothetically, they could implement some internal api and open Reddit to the fediverse no? What would happen then? (I’m sure they won’t because they want the money… but I’m just speculating…)

So I’m in the bus, happily browsing Lemmy in Jerboa. I clicked on a Reddit link in a Lemmy post that silently opened the Reddit app without my noticing (cuz I was paying attention to my bus stop). The subreddit had this grey theme going on, so overall the Reddit client kinda looked like Jerboa....

Hey all, Still occasionally dipping into Reddit but am finding myself gradually transitioning to Lemmy (shoutout to Memmy!). I was wondering if anyone here knows, what has reddit traffic been like these last few months? Is it declining or holding strong? Thanks
