Is there any way to post videos to Lemmy?

I really think the only thing that’s missing right now in Lemmy is more gif and video content easily accessible from the feeds. I want to contribute this content, but it seems to me like the only way to do this is by sharing links to external services like YouTube, TikTok, or imgur. Is this correct?
