There’s a ton of issues with the UI I want to address and there’s a number of things I want to experiment such as how communities are subscribed to, so I started writing a new UI in SvelteKit. I also have Capacitor setup which would allow this to triple as a native iOS and Android application....
It’s still in beta as well, so you need testflight. Happy lemmy’ing

So I made a few custom Lemmy themes/CSS tweaks that I think the community would appreciate....
This is an easy to use compressed unprivileged Linux container packed into a single executable that works on most Linux distros. It is designed to be as simple and user-friendly as possible. You can use it to run any applications, including games (Vulkan and OpenGL).
I put this together at the weekend and it got some interest on the selfhosting subreddit in its final day :)...

What would folks think about using this tool to clone the existing subreddit? Losing the historical content would really suck. I make heavy use of subreddit search for solving technical problems....
