You answered your own question. You might see it more with mobile apps, because it’s a totally different ecosystem, with often very short product lifespans. Get it shipped and make money before the wind shifts.

I’m in the same boat with my 4a 5G. I feel no need or motivation to upgrade, but the battery is starting to show its age.
