I get that they’d want to remove slurs from the board but did they really remove the “never forget what we lost” banner with the 3rd party app icons? Because that’s really just a peaceful protest and it would be very lame if they removed that…
I’ve been using a third party app for Reddit since forever. Taking that away was, for me, equivalent to taking Reddit away as a whole. I had to change either way so then I’d rather change to a different platform than change to the crappy official app.
It was such a vile move to claim the name meta. Before that, both “meta” and “metaverse” had a very different meaning and it has drastically changed since then.
