Spoiler: Nicht gut, und das ist so ziemlich allen Mods seit Jahren bewusst. Nichtsdestotrotz finde ich es nachvollziehbar, dass man die eigenen Subreddits noch nicht ganz aufgeben möchte, da die Communities unabhängig von der Plattform eben doch ziemlich gut sind und über die Jahre einiges an Arbeit hinein investiert wurde. Ich denke aber, dass für jeden irgendwann der Punkt kommen wird, an dem man diesem profitorientierten Unternehmen keine gratis Arbeitsstunden mehr schenken möchte, wenn man zeitgleich wie Scheiße behandelt wird.
Jein, zumindest @BembelSommelier ist hier gelegentlich auch noch aktiv. Die anderen Mods haben mit dem Subreddit aber aktuell alle Hände voll zu tun und möchten der Seite noch nicht den Rücken kehren. Die Band auf der Titanic, sozusagen.
Still, AI is able to “create” new things by a combination of existing concepts. It can generate a Roomba in the style of Van Gogh for example, which is probably not something that currently exists.
If you have trained the model or part of it yourself, I’d say yes, some copyright should apply to that. Depending on the images that were used of course. The copyright should apply less to the generated image and more to the model itself. You should also be able to copyright images that have been sufficiently altered after the initial generation IMO.
