Anyway to port reddit sub list to here?
I am pretty tight for time since my second child was born yesterday. For my first I would let my wife sleep while I held my baby and browsed reddit for hours. The timing of all this couldn't be worse for me. Nothing to do while I'm pinned down with a baby!...
Reddit's official TikTok account hypocritically showing off MSOutlookit ( www.tiktok.com )
MSOutlookit is a “skin” for Reddit that makes it look like Outlook. In case the joke isn’t clear it makes it easier to hide Reddit browsing at work from folks looking over your shoulder. pcottle.github.io/MSOutlookit/...
Reddit calls for “a few new mods” after axing, polarizing some of its best ( arstechnica.com )
After over a decade, goodbye for good. ( lemmy.world )
Also, all my comments deleted.
Reddit was once an enjoyable experience but...
The toxicity became too much to bear. I couldn’t go a post or a comment anymore without someone wanting to give me a hard time for it. Downvote brigading, using antagonizing logic to try and bait for responses that they want. The users digging into your post history to bring up things that have nothing to do with, with what...
Does patching Rif allow you to use the app for free again?
As title says, I’ve read several guides across the internet but I still don’t understand if you can use Rif again with 0 costs in money and if you can use all functions of Reddit is fun....
NSFW subs still available on Reddit is Fun?
I heard that 5th of July that Reddit was blocking all access to NSFW if you aren’t logged in, they’re still open on RiF which is still functioning while logged out. Any clue what is going on or is Reddit just run by idiots?
I can browse reddit on mobile again without logging in. does this show spez is cracking? ( www.reddit.com )
It appears that all the lawyers have been sacked by Spez too - PullPush threatened legal action from Reddit over API access ( forum.pullpush.io )
Please share your stories/screenshots of being banned from Reddit and/or Subreddits, as well as other social media platforms. ( lemmy.world )
If you still have access to your account, screenshots of the last “offending” post or comment would be great. https://lemmy.world/c/banhammered
So where are we all supposed to go now? ( www.theverge.com )
Why not rewrite RIF to support Lemmy?
I don’t know how much of an effort it would be by the developer but we love RIF and maybe it’s worth it....
Rest Easy rif ( lemmy.world )
Why make an app for Tildes instead of Lemmy?
I mean the dev is obviously free to work on whatever he wants, but I’ve had a Tildes account for like 2 years now, and honestly it never got any traction. Lemmy on the other hand is getting a lot of users, and it is desperately missing a non-buggy app....
Joey for Reddit died
It was one of the few apps still working, it went offline today.
What Reddit does next does not matter, because Reddit no longer matters
People don't care about you, only what you can do for them. Thats a deeply cynical point of view but its emblematic of Reddit now....
leaving an empty spot on my homescreen ( lemmy.world )
webapp for reddit to continue to lurk - for subs that do not yet have alternatives on lemmy. ( lurkit.vercel.app )
many of the subreddits I follow on reddit still do not have active communities on lemmy - this app fixes that itch. source code is here - github.com/panigrah/lurkit
real reddit on display ( lemmy.world )
236 up votes and no comments. I’m sure it’s real.
You can post and vote with RIF again using ReVanced to patch the Client ID ( docs.google.com )
I know there are still good reasons not to use or access reddit, but if you do and want to use RIF these instructions currently work.
Well at least we can all get iphones now
The only real thing that’s held me back from going iPhone after almost 15 years of Android phones was rif....
Is there a Lemmy app that supports auto collapse of reply comments yet?
When I open a post, I only want to see the parent comments. To see the reply comments of a specific parent comment, I could then unfold only these replies....
I can't believe I supported them...
Back when reddit was arguing in favor of net neutrality against Ajit Pai, I wrote them a note which they included in their FCC filing. I think there were all of five or so redditors they included for that....
