I have an old laptop which didn’t exactly have top of the line specs when I bought it back in 2016. It does, however, run Ubuntu pretty competently (yes I know there are better distros, no I am not going to use them). It was cheap. As in it came with a Celeron in 2016 cheap, so it isn’t the speediest little guy....

I am just dipping my toes into Linux. I have dual booted Ubuntu on my main machine. Right now I don’t have access at all to a wired connection. I have a TP link archer T2U usb Wi-Fi adapter that I have used and works (on my windows half). However, I can’t use the Wi-Fi adapter because I am missing the drivers on Linux and...

i’ve created my own wifi router & firewall using pci passthrough for the network card to a kvm/libvirt/qemu virtual machine running pfsense hosted on an ubuntu server and it works well enough; but the pci id changes roughly every other reboot....

Just sharing this amazing individual. He is pretty wholesome and is currently building his own house. Great philosophy and emacs content too. He actually responds to emails pretty quickly and can hold conversations depending on the subject. Also, share your amazing individuals that we should be aware of!
