with the simple tools suite being sold to a purveyor of non-foss things, remind me of your favorite lists of recommended apps? i was using simple contacts and am not immediately sure of a good replacement. i would want one without internet permissions, which was why i disabled the google builtin.
So here is the issue, I use Google Drive because I am a writer who does a lot of writing. And I thought the cloud was a reliable way to store my writing, however now Google is looking through it’s to train their ai. And I’m worried about that, especially since I have written a lot of questionable content, porn and the like....

I just has to change up my Internet and WiFi setup in my business and my smart plugs and switches were no longer connecting to my guest WiFi. I had to remove everything and use a different WiFi (normally I just replicate the ssid and passphrase) now not everything is adding back Google home, and what is there is not functioning...
This happened on all android devices I’ve owned. Once they turn about 3 years old, they start slowing down out of a sudden. Yes, software gets heavier, you need more processing power, etc. But it happens out of a sudden....
So yeah. Spending a lot of thoughts turning my phone to GrapheneOS. The only thing that really matters is my banking app. Is there a way to check if it works on Graphene?

Hi, I want to degoogle a Samsung Tablet I got. There is no LineageOS built out for this recent tablet, so I can only try to degoogle the stock ROM....
So my problem is that I don’t have money for a new phone and I also need my banking app. Rooting is not possible....
On my chromecast i have Google and Google Assistant disabled. I also have Projectivy launcher. I want to know how to degoogle it further, i am too scared to disable google play services because i don’t have aurora store here. I also replaced Gboard with a open source alternative. Any ideas?
