ArbiterXero , 11 months ago Android apps are placed in sandboxes to prevent them from affecting other apps or data they shouldn’t have access to. If the app has somehow broken that, then it is likely you WANT to factory reset. There are some permissions that allow apps to inject themselves into strange places that will affect other apps, but not many. I would avoid that app and definitely reset
