@Arotrios @NeuKelte That guy is a crank on multiple fronts.

Infamous on that site for promoting his search software which turned out to actually be a gold mine of How Not to Write Software, which is the thing that that site is about.

Also some type of "basic physics is wrong and not just at relativistic/quantum scales" conspiracy nut, with multiple video clips "proving" same, but actually just demonstrating his non-grasp of things like camera focus and depth perception.

Also found some "Biggie Rocks" once, and iirc styles himself as a druid or shaman or something. The type of guy that, if I styled myself as a druid or shaman or something, I would probably take one look at him and be like "jfc go away and stop giving the people the idea that I'm as much of a nutter as you are".

@emurphy - I think you're mistaking the author for Spectate Swamp. The author of the piece above, JD Stanley, is a historical fantasy writer from Toronto - he doesn't have any tech background I can see, nor does he claim to. He appears to be a totally different person than Spectate Swamp - profile pics don't match at all, and the writing styles are completely different.

The article is historical background on the druid's stone - no mention of physics or conspiracies, nor any misleading information that I can find. All of the other articles on his blog are about writing or historical fantasy - no tech. This sounds like a case of mistaken identity.

@Arotrios @NeuKelte Oh no, I was just riffing on the general concept of the druid stone, not implying that SS is the same as any other person. (iirc SS'S real name is known, there was a news article about his fringe campaign for city council or somesuch)
