My problem switching off of gmail is that I’d really like to start moving to an alias-based approach (so, you know, [email protected] for Lemmy emails, etc.) but this then conflates two issues so I solve neither....

Qwant promises to be privacy friendly. Seems like a good alternative to Google and DuckDuckGo.
