The movie blew my mind when I was a kid, and I recently watched it again. I know people have mixed feelings about Jim Carrey but for me the man is a comedic genius and this movie is one of his best works ever.
Small communities that are similar should think about mushing together for activity. Example: Hiking, Backpacking, Thru Hiking. It will generate more Activity and then branch out. We have too many niche pages that won’t be active.
(What makes this an unpopular opinion is that I’m basically advocating for jettisoning an entire Fediverse platform rather than just riding out the rough patch.)...
What the title says. Sure, it’s gentle on the environment, but it doesn’t remove soap scum, grease, grime etc anywhere nearly as effective as other products. I also doubt its efficiency as an antibacterial compared to say alcohol or most detergents....

From what I understand of the current Israel-Palestine conflict, both countries have been at each other’s throats for years. Both have launched unprovoked attacks, and both have killed civilians. Neither country comes out of this smelling like roses....

I do not have children, and I never will, yet my property taxes still go toward paying for schools. I’m happy to have my taxes pay for roads, infastructure improvement, fire, police, and all the other municipal services that benefit me as a resident of the county....

Ask some people why Windows Vista failed and they will tell you that most of the problem came from hardware compatibility. I don’t remember ever having problems with Vista back when I used it. Then again I was running it on a brand new computer with the OS in question preinstalled....
As a healthcare worker I hear this joke a lot and I just don’t care for it. It’s insensitive, unprofessional and rude. Yes we all get that “it’s just a joke, bro” but making light of vulnerable patients getting hurt is rotten behavior.
