qyron,

Uh… Not at all. Not on the Commonwealth and not a woman.

qyron,

Hey, the least I can say was that both locker rooms got mutually raided, so it was an equal opportunity exercise.

qyron,

Bundle of clothing.

qyron,

I’m not. At least I don’t consider myself as such.

qyron,

I can definitely relate with that.

qyron,

Well, I was able to successfully reproduce, so you might have a point there.

qyron,

Titanic is not a good movie.

qyron,

I thought the whole point was to voice an unpopular opinion.

I find no value in that movie, whatsoever, regardless what the critics and public may say otherwise.

How often to you bail on a half-written post or response?

I have had a tendency since my earliest days on social media where I will get halfway or more through a response, and end up just cancelling it. Sometimes I feel like I’m just being to over the top with snark or otherwise don’t want to be that kind of person, but a lot of the time I’ll decide I just really don’t care...

qyron,

Please, can someone be so kind and explain me why choking has become such a fetish/kink?

I’m already aware of the mechanics behind it but I want to understand what motivates someone to turn a life threatning situation into sexually pleasing.

qyron,

As I state above, I’m already aware of the mechanics.

What I am hoping for is someone sharing what impulse turned a warning sign into a pleasure trigger for them.

qyron,

I am, in fact. People can be extremely coherent explaining why something floats their boat and some other thing does not.

Feet, ankles, legs, tits, ass, pork and beans, ballons, clowns, wiped cream, chips, dips, chains and wips…

Most people can explain why something appeals to them.

But what I specifically want is a rationalization for why choking as become such a mainstream fetish lately.

qyron,

At this point, both.

qyron,

If strange things seen while walking my dog apply, I have plenty of stories to tell.

qyron,

I am not a smoker but once in a blue moon I can convince myself to either go for a cigarillo or a small cigar.

I’l sit outside, which implies this is something I do preferably in the summer months, pour myself a glass of wine, put on some music and just be by myself, existing.

I’ve been mulling about getting a pipe for some years.

I make my best to not bother anyone with my smoke and when buying tobbacco, I buy good, to keep it a ritual of self care and not an addiction.

Working with smokers, I constantly hear them complaining about vapers and vice versa and how tobacco is so expensive.

At an average €4,5 a pack, by the end of the month it adds up to a very round €135. Half of that gets me tobbacco and wine for two years.

qyron,

Thank you for the insight!

I’ve been keeping my eye on a pipe similar to the one used by Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings.

It’s all about the ritual.

qyron,

Funny thing about that particular type of pipe is that the cup is very small and somewhat shallow, so it takes very tobbacco, plus it requires a good degree of dedication to prepare, light and keep.

For two or three pipes a year? Worth it. The ones I’ve seen are less than €30, mostly made from rose root.

The worst thing will be buying good tobbacco.

qyron,

Correct

qyron,

Not in the cards

qyron,

Why?

If the women are fine with it, get a wage from it and can quit any time they choose to, where is the problem?

And just to add to the pile: humans can lactate without the need for pregnancy - even males - and some women can develop a condition called hyperlactation where the body goes full throttle on producing milk, beyond any needs of an infant. And never stop, in very extreme cases.

Sounds a good deal more sustainable and fair than cows milk and a heck lot more efficient than milking trees.

qyron,

To my knowledge, the use of hormones in milk cattle is banned. And hormones in humans have severe life lasting side effects.

qyron,

Do you mean milk producers union?

Because the milkers would be those paying for the milk to resell it.

qyron,

Allow me to be dumb, then.

qyron,

Sometimes I really hate the english language…

Back there, when I mention hormones, it is implied it is non necessary for the normal functioning of the organism.

In my language, using the word “hormones” in a conversation immediatly carries the meaning it is something artificially added, like hormone therapy for menopausal women or hormone therapy for transgender individuals or even for people with thyroid problems.

qyron,

Thank you. Very courteous of you.

qyron,

No kinky business

qyron,

Buy a pair of brown bell bottoms and an orange shirt. Set a roleplay night. Go dress away from her. Scream while you enter the room “oh, yeah, lets boogie tonight!”

qyron,

“Not to rush things too quickly or anything but I think it would be really cool if we kissed right now.”

No need for derogatory words.

An overall confident woman is an highly desirable one; if one is out for you, my dudes, chase her back.

qyron, (edited )

I have to drive a freaking pick up truck for professional reasons and even I loathe the freaking thing.

Too long, too wide, too tall, too everything and anything for any road and I drive in country roads.

The craze for ever growing vehicles is going to extremes.

Tax and penalize these cars until it hurts.

qyron, (edited )

Unfortunately, to my knowledge, there are no risen raised vans or with 4x4 traction, which I often require to reach some remote locations, especially with rainy weather.

But I would gladly trade it in for a small van.

Either that or a 1990’s 4x4 FIAT Panda, with a roof rack.

qyron,

I drive small cars in my personal life, although I currently own 2 station wagons because of family and pets. I usually get an average consumption of 6-7L/100km, which is not bad at all.

My first and most beloved car was a hatchback that could get 5,5L/100km.

I have to drive a pick up for work but I do not enjoy it, to the least degree.

qyron,

The issue here is oversized vehicles becoming norm, not exception.

qyron,

At least 20cm of clearance from the road, awd capable, with high torque setting for rough terrain and steep inclinations, as I sometimes need to use trails not even fit to be considered goat paths.

In a van, it’s an exotic combination.

qyron,

Seems promising.

I’ll play it somewhere in the next 3 to 5 years.

qyron,

Where have you tasted portuguese olive oil?

Depending on the region, the end product is radically different, and the trees here are mostly local varieties, especially if you look for small scale producers, that run their olives through cooperative mills.

What is running prices high this year is mostly speculation.

In 2017/18/19/20, the oil per kilo ratio was somewhere between 1L/12-14kg of fruit. Producer prices were levelled at €5/L, for over a decade.

This year, the ratio is down by 1L/8-10kg of fruit. Prices sky rocket. Labour price hasn’t changed in years (€50/day hand, €150/hour for fully mechanized picking).

If this isn’t speculation, nothing is.

qyron,

“This program is really expensive and I keep having to buy a new computer every two years because it gets so slow.”

You’re being fucked with, when there are alternatives out there.

But that is none of my business.

qyron,

You can’t know until you try it.

Professionals are trained on already available answers, often target marketed, which moves forward the penetration of such answers into broad society.

This does not mean they are good or bad, just popular.

Any alternative solution will always be compared to the more popular, even if better.

qyron,

Funny how we jumped from an implied personal use to an enterprise use all of a sudden.

To which the same basic rules apply. The added problem on enterprise is that you have legally binding contracts to force the company to stay with a bad software.

qyron,

What’s your main concern?

And allow me to add: the Penguin deals better and better with gaming, nowadays. Consider that as well.

Are you looking for a distro?

qyron,

What else is new?

It is easier for more well off individuals to access benefits than those who truly require it.

Systems are often hard to navigate, terribly bureaucratic and staffed with uninterested and often malicious and callous individuals.

Paired with policies veering towards cutting off social benefits and taxation fairness, those who are already vulnerable get even more vulnerable.

We are as strong as the weakest among us.

And this is not a call to abandon the weak. Is the reminder that the stronger must care for and build up the weaker.

qyron,

Politians should try to live for a year on minimum wage.

qyron,

Greed cancels logic.

qyron,

“Oh, no! My profits!”

Meanwhile, a legion of people wanting to access otherwise unavailable entertainment.

Seems another good idea. Next, go to Portugal and expand on the “Right to Private Copy”.

qyron,

Hence me asking for the EU to analyse and fully implement Portugal’s right of private copy.

Boiled down, this just states anyone can have a copy, for their own private use, of any media they own and paid for.

This means I pay an added fee on any support I buy where I can write any media but I can legally keep it for myself.

The regulation is obviously polemic for all parts involved but it is a good start, even more when media platforms are removing access to products paid for.

qyron,

It’s not like we are about to run out of it.

Money is essentially time and that is finite but money allows to composite time by combining the time of many into one single task.

Scientific endeavour is of the few meritous causes where money should never be an issue.

qyron,

This from the country that single handedly created the fetish around corporal punishment.

Trying to clean retroactively?

Are the public phone booths still plastered with escort service stickers?
