I can’t tell if this is the most smartest high IQ joke that I’m too dumb for, or just nonsense that I’m trying to understand too rationally.

lobste.rs/about#invitations

The quickest way to receive an invitation is to talk to someone you recognize from the site. If you wrote a link that was posted, please reach out in chat, we’d love to have you join the discussion. Finally, if you can’t find anyone you know in the invitation tree and didn’t author something posted to the site, consider getting to know the community in the chat room.

Enabling the Session Bus Access permission fixes it. The issue seems to just be that the permission is disabled by default.

I (currently) only use it for my passwords and my music between my laptop and my phone, but it’s incredibly useful, even for just those 2 things.

I usually put ‘Artist1 & Artist2’ or ‘Artist1, Artist2, & Artist3’, and live with the sad truth that some Artists have multiple entries (‘Artist1’ & ‘Artist1 & Artist2’).

backhdlp,
@backhdlp@lemmy.blahaj.zone avatar

I already do that for albums and I thought about mentioning it. My problem is that I have a lot of songs outside of albums, where all artists would technically be the album artists.

My PW manager told me that my info was leaked in the recent eye4fraud.com breach. How can I know what site shared my data with them?

My password manager told me that my info was leaked, including IP address, address, email, personal information, and phone number, in a data breach of eye4fraud.com. However, I don’t use eye4fraud, so it must have been a site that uses their services. I would like to change my login credentials on the site that shared my data...

You can Ctrl-F and search for services that are in your PW manager.

If you can’t find it, you can check haveibeenpwned.com for your email and password

Ask Lemmy: Traditional vs natural mouse scrolling; which do you use?

Despite being a heavy cell phone user for more than 25 years, it only recently occurred to me that vertical navigation on most phones is inverted when compared to traditional computers. You swipe down to navigate upward, and up to navigate downward. I recently spent time using a MacBook, which apparently defaults to this...

What apps/windows support --drop-down option? [MX-Linux-21 xfce]

I like the fact that on MX F4 button is associated with xfce4-terminal --drop-down. I can just press F4 to open or close it and it won’t be another window and it won’t take space on my panel and if I don’t press Alt+F4 and exit from the drop-down terminal, it will keep the session going without appearing on panel or on...
