I never skipped the Succession intro. The combination of really interesting video footage and that incredible music just hit perfectly.

Same goes for Scrubs. I love the way the characters change throughout the short intro, and the song has gone on to be one of my absolute favourites.

I mean I’m careful to only order from the place down the road that does a BOGOF offer. I’ll eat one there and then and let the other… stink out the fridge unless the family gobbles it up the following morning.

I tried the AF a few months ago and found it just kind of made the top layer crunchy, so I usually microwave it.

Probably doesn’t help the flavour, but it keeps the texture just how I like it.

In the year since I got my Steamdeck it’s become favourite way to play games. The only thing I really have an issue with…is the screen, and this looks to have addressed that issue.

Going to be real hard for me not to splurge on this.

So I finished Super Mario Wonder and it’s as good as you’ve heard it to be.

And I just started playing Cult of the Lamb. Really digging that so far, although I can already feel the anxiety that usually comes along with the base management aspects of these games; so much to do, no idea what to prioritise.

I think there’s a difference between soggy cereal and dry cereal. If you’ve got milk in the bowl then most of the cereal that’s also in the bowl should be (erm)…moist?

I’ve got two (5,1). I absolutely adore them both, but I’d be lying if I said that having kids hasn’t made my life significantly harder, my mental health significantly worse and my sense of self significantly weaker.

There’s so much stigma around this sort of thing. It’s getting better, but the mindset that children are a gift and parents should be constantly grateful for that gift is still very prevalent.

The reality is that whilst children are absolutely incredible, life affirming and all that good stuff…an awful lot of being a parent is frankly, horrible.

Well firstly, any new staff inevitably ask the ‘do we work an hour more/less’ depending on the circumstance.

Aside from that, not much else changes. One Sunday morning I’d finish at 6 and then six months later I’d have a Sunday where I finished at 8.

Fortunately I never worked Sunday nights, so I never felt like I was losing much after work time.

If I genuinely absolutely adore a book that I’ve read digitally I’ll usually go in for the paperback. And, this might be the snob in me, but I’m more likely to make that purchase if it’s a nonfiction book.

I think that technically we have two ‘moons’ already. Just that the other one is super small and doesn’t really have much effect on the planet.

Had a nice walk around with my daughter. A few of the houses that were a bit more…dressed up proved too scary for her and there was a somewhat awkward instance where she’d ran off to her mum after I’d knocked…but that aside it was alright actually.

Still don’t love it mind.

I think most people have indoor dogs and for the most part they’re fine. The problem (imo) usually stems from people not fully appreciating how much work it actually takes to look after, and train a dog. Especially post-lockdown.

This sort of thing is very personal. IIRC 2018 was the last time we had one of these years and I was really meh on the entire year. Not bad, but it certainly didn’t thrill me.

'23 has been wild though, so many games have hit with me.

Larian are far from the only studio that’s willing to do this. The Witcher 2 features a choice after the first act that locks off one pathway in its entirety. It’s probably 5-10 hours of content that’s locked out until you play the game again (or load and make another choice I guess).

That said, I agree with your point, I wish we had more developers that are willing to take that risk.

Spider-Man 2.

I think I’m in the final act now, and the only real complaint I have is with the >!MJ sections, which just feel stiff compared to the rest of the game, that could be entirely a personal preference thing though!<.

If there was ever a game that I’d describe as a ‘Popcorn game’, it’d be this one. There’s always something fun and engaging to do, moving your character around the world is fun and I never feel like they’re filling for length or that they aren’t respecting my time.

This game seems almost perfectly designed to frustrate me, and yet at the same time it has me totally entranced.

Is there any way I can stop seeing sports posts?

I don’t know if this was asked before and I don’t know how to look for that so I’m sorry if this is a repeat but, I keep seeing American football posts which I couldn’t care less about and I keep blocking the communities but they’re like thousands of millions of communities that never end. And no, I don’t wanna stick...

I’m a big sports guy and I rarely see random sports posts in the wild. Could OP be viewing the “all” page maybe? We had a similar issue a few days ago with Elon Posts and I wonder if it’s not a similar issue here?

I’ve got to assume there’s some dodgy prints going around? I got a PAL version of the game on disc (standard edition) and it installed without issue, and so far I’ve not noticed any significant issues with that installation.

Because ££ I guess? She’s not a terrible landlady by any means, but…she doesn’t live here so what’s a daily problem to us is a financial issue she doesn’t need to deal with.

Can’t really go with the window option, the five year old might be able to deal with that but the toddler won’t, plus I refuse to splurge money on energy if it’s going out the window.

Will bleach make any real difference? I’ve also heard that a dehumidifier can make help keep the air clean
