I’ll go first. Mine is that I can’t stand the Deadpool movies. They are self aware and self referential to an obnoxious degree. It’s like being continually reminded that I am in a movie. I swear the success of that movie has directly lead to every blockbuster having to have a joke every 30 seconds
As someone who read the books, 3 movies is going to be too much. 2 movies is more than enough for the first book and I think it’s gonna suffer a bit for it. Not as bad as the Hobbit, but I haven’t seen anything get better from getting milked.
I’m wrong, misread an article. Thanks for the info y’all.
CGI definitely doesn’t hold up, that troll in Mines of Moria, various Legolas shots, etc. are pretty rough. But everything else is still great.
On a side note I’ll always hate the people that decided to add all that CGI to 2011 The Thing when they had already filmed everything with practical effects. If I ever meet them IRL I will give them the most well deserved ass punch.
Side side note, still waiting for the practical effects version of 2011 The Thing to be released.
I think the biggest problem is they keep hamfisting action and comedy where it’s completely unnecessary. If something is worth watching people will find the time.
But they keep making the same mistakes on most of their stuff, like Wandavision was pretty good up until they decided they needed a big fight scene for the climax. Quantimania, Falcon & WS, Captain Marvel were milquetoast. Then you’ve got Thor L&T and Secret Invasion which were handled badly. It was weird to get Sam Raimi back for a one-off but not branching into the supernatural side of Marvel.
It blows my mind that you think the average streamer knows anything about pirating. It’s so much easier for the average person to download the app, put in your email, link a payment, and you’re in. Majority of streamers have never even heard of Plex or jellyfin, let alone participate in any pirating communities.
People need to learn how, but I doubt most people with a full-time job would care to learn. It ain’t really jumping through hoops when it’s easy to subscribe to a streaming service.
What I mean is… sometimes people are very loyal to a videogame franchise or a company because they loved a game they released years ago (Silent Hill/Konami with Silent Hill 2, Blizzard/Bethesda with their respective golden eras, some could argue this happens too with Pokémon and Final Fantasy, etc). Ethical/consumer reasons...

For me it’s because they block three lanes of traffic on a four lane, and when I drive by at 10mph on a 65mph watching 3 workers watching 1 doing work I die a little inside. And it goes on for weeks or months. And I’m both annoyed and jealous.
Just invest in the Data Vac or one of the millions of off brands on Amazon. Less waste that way. I use off brand more frequently but the data vac feels like it’s built to last and has more power.
I agree with the thumbnail garbage, that shit is annoying. But the videos themselves have just become whatever he’s doing that day. It’s like he’s terminally online now, he’d stream from the shitter if it wasn’t against the ToS. He streams, puts the big clips on his moist Charlie channel, then puts the more interesting stuff on his main channel.
But then you’ll just be making it harder for my automobile overlords to have complete control over our shitty infrastructure! Don’t you just love going anywhere and seeing nothing but parking lots?
Yup, discouraging seeing a post you want to see others engaging in, but it only has three comments and was posted 20 hours ago. Also annoying to see an interesting political post get brigaded with users who don’t want to have a civil discussion, in some instances.

Same, but never liked options as the name though sounds like that should be the word to replace ‘select’. Menu is an adequate replacement for ‘start’. Won’t call it that but makes sense.
