The fact that you cant buy a house shows that your landlord is providing value to you, because they make living there affordable where it would otherwise be unaffordable.
My statement still stands: IF they werent providing any value to you (eg. making living there more affordable) then you could just buy a house. (But they do provide value which is why you can afford to rent but not afford to buy a house).

I dont know anything about zoning laws but after looking it up it sounds pretty dumb, we dont have that here where I live (large city in central Europe).

Every political opinion has a reasoning and differences in political opinions are usually based on differences in the morals or ideals of people. So why do you have to hate or discredit the opinions that dont match yours?
Refusing to debate a topic (aka refusing to hear the other side’s arguments) just leads no narrower-minded people. You cant have a reasonable opinion if you have only heard one side’s (your own) arguments.

Says who? I’m all for open source (and even actively contribute), and I do not have a left-leaning political stance. Loving open source does not mean that I want to raise taxes, or that I want gendering to be a thing (theres an issue in languages that dont have a gender-neutral plural).

There are people that choose to be homeless but there are countries where you have the right not to be homeless. In the country I live in (in central Europe) you can literally go to a facility that will give you a place to sleep and some food.
Also, to become homeless as a person that once worked is not that easy, you would have to deny multiple job offers (the state will go job hunting for you and present you with a few options). During that time you would still get unemployment money.

And just to add to the others pount, yesterday my monitor was accidentally set to 50hz and I immidiazely noticed the difference to 60hz. Because fast movements arent blurred (they arent supposed to be), they look choppy.
