EvokerKing,

Thought I was looking at r/place for a moment

EvokerKing,

Who buys a truck for aesthetics and not for usefulness? The tiny one might be ugly but the bigger problem is storage in the interior of the car. You don’t even have a back seat in the small one. And also I doubt that the small one can haul large amounts of weight, like a trailer, where the big one can. Just because it is dangerous doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a purpose. Now, instead of having a car for getting around, an SUV for more people, something powerful for a trailer or heavy stuff, you have one for everything that costs the same price as one of those vehicles.

EvokerKing,

Afaik the order of operations doesn’t have distributive property in it. It would instead simply become multiplication and would go left to right and would therefore be 16.

EvokerKing,

That isn’t a problem with Linux, as much as I hate it. It’s a problem with Asus, which I hate more. Asus is known for having many unfixable bugs on everything they have similar to these but even this isn’t as severe as most people get where their audio will go out for days on end.

EvokerKing,

I swear ark survival evolved is a fucking zip bomb. There is no way that game is 350gb and has been for years. I had to install it on a second drive.

EvokerKing,

It was added to the beta a few days ago and it’s called Leo.

EvokerKing,

I couldn’t care less. Google does the same thing. There isn’t really much data about me anyone would care about. Their adblock is basically the only reason I use it (none of that crypto shit). The adblock has worked without fail where ublock origin and paid adblocks fail.

It also has never once had problems with for example, the pop ups on YouTube telling you to disable your adblocker.

EvokerKing,

Brave has still worked fine throughout all this. I’ve been using it for a while and I wouldn’t have even known about the message if it wasn’t for news articles and Lemmy posts.

EvokerKing,

Explanation: the percent is modulus. Basically it’s just divide the first number by the second and return the remainder. If you do number % 2, it will return 1 if it is odd and 0 if it is even. For example 4/2 has a remainder of 0 and therefore is even. 3/2 has a remainder of 1, and therefore is odd.

EvokerKing,

Why not one with modulus?

EvokerKing,

Nah because they know it would be close to the same after having to wait for the train to arrive.

EvokerKing,

I mean waiting for the train to arrive because they are on very exact schedules, so most people won’t be able to get everywhere at the time they need to be.

EvokerKing,

I’ve been on Amtrak before. I also remember it being that there were very specific times you could get on and off, which don’t align with many people’s schedules.

EvokerKing,

But you can’t make that schedule. If you’re running late in a car, there’s nothing wrong. Be late for a train and it’s like being late for a plane. Imagine that every morning trying to get to work.

EvokerKing,

I’m not even sure what you’re saying by build one where people are… Because that would mean building a train station like every second? But I’m assuming you mean build it in popular places or build more. All of these mean more stops and higher time to arrival.

EvokerKing,

Yes, it even happened in our schools lol. Also mine for just used Google TTS to read it out. That wouldn’t have been weird if it didn’t read it again but in Spanish a few minutes later…

EvokerKing,

Just keep in mind Samsung has a shit os and hides things under bad UI ux.

EvokerKing,

Woosh He just said the top 25% is as smart as the top 25% and the bottom 25% is as smart as the bottom 25%…

EvokerKing,

I think he is trying to use c/memes as r/technicallythetruth.

EvokerKing,

Possibly, but Apple’s shitty version of the cable basically made it break more on the actual cable than the connector. It seems that this may be fixed with usb c because of the thicker cable though.

EvokerKing,

I actually doubt that phones are the major reason for a post like this. There are many reasons that you could fill in that only happen to some schools but phones happen to be the only one that applies to nearly every school. For example, at my school, our lunches have been cut down to shit 15 minutes at most, and if you buy lunch, it’s much less. We usually have them call 5 minutes left. Sometimes they will say the kitchen is closed, sometimes they can’t because people are still ordering.

EvokerKing,

Edge is copying a lot of stuff from the yet-to-be-released-on-Windows arc browser. This is one of them. They seem to have not added the other stuff that interfaces with it like the one window split screen.

EvokerKing,

I like it, but sometimes I have to use something like concentric for thinner pieces. But in general, it is pretty neat.

EvokerKing,

Yes, they do. There is more than just the engine at play on compatibility. The main reason is actually usually the anti cheat.

EvokerKing,

This is why it’s mainly larger developers that care about their community that implement Linux support. Take valve for example. Wonderful company that cares about their playerbase more than the average game development team. They have Linux support on almost all of their games as far as I am aware. Bungie is a decent company but most of their community doesn’t want to play on Linux anyway, so they won’t bother with it. However most teams that are smaller or care more about money than players won’t do it.

EvokerKing,

I’m pretty sure graphene os has been doing this for a while now, check them out

EvokerKing,

Because Python uses indentation instead of curly brackets, which is why this meme exists. Also jetbrains ide s like pycharm and webstorm do all of this for you.

EvokerKing,

Not as good as jetbrains does, it automatically does things like realign when you paste things and lots of little things that improve the coding experience by a lot.

EvokerKing,

Do you have any rooms open right now?

EvokerKing,

Imagine just going around and putting these signs on locked doors. There would be so many people trying as hard as they can to open a locked door.

EvokerKing,

Technically base html, css, and js are client side, so it is easiest to continue that. If you want something node based that is server, use express with stuff like mustache.

EvokerKing,

They are still much less than nvidia…

EvokerKing,

If it can run them… I sold mine because they never actually fixed the drivers. Out of hundreds of games on my PC, it was able to run 3-4. This isn’t before their updates either. This happened 2 weeks ago. It can’t run davinci resolve despite having good encoders, it couldn’t even fucking run valorant Also they are only good in benchmarks, I found that my old 3050 was outperforming it in terms of fps.

EvokerKing, (edited )

I would but Firefox is behind on many things including UI, speed, and other things. One of the main reasons is compatibility. A lot of things in html, css, and js don’t yet work in Firefox but do on chromium based browsers. This is even clearly outlined by Mozilla in mdn web docs. The only thing with worse compatibility is safari (who could’ve seen that one coming). Also it seems like this is a Google thing so it probably only affects chrome and not chromium. I’m waiting for arc to be on Windows but if you want chrome without most of Google’s spyware shit just use chromium. You don’t need a chromium based browser if you can just use chromium itself.

Edit: you guys need to chill with the responses. There is so many that sync won’t let me respond despite me writing paragraphs that address everything you guys are concerned about like saying everything works (all of webkit doesn’t).

EvokerKing,

And Captain America civil war

EvokerKing,

I’m staying in room (69 cos(11/10 cos^4(1/2 (-1/6859 - (-1/19 - (4 π)/3)^3 + (357 π)/361 - (16 π^2)/57 - (64 π^3)/27)) cosh(sin(1))))/exp(40/19 (216/1331 - (6/11 - (19 π)/43)^3 - (2052 π)/5203 + (6498 π^2)/20339 - (6859 π^3)/79507) (1 + 2 (1 + π)))

EvokerKing,

It’s required to be used in a lot of workplaces.

EvokerKing,

This actually doesn’t look that bad. I know it’s not good but you don’t need new ram (even if it is 4gb of ram). You only need a new motherboard which is probably an old one because you wouldn’t pair a bad CPU with a good motherboard and it has to be a bad CPU since no good CPU will run with 4gb of ram. The motherboard for this probably costs under $30.

Edit: just realized it’s 1337mhz ram so the motherboard has to be at least 5-10 years old.

EvokerKing,

Anybody who cares about their phone is an android user and I’m guessing the people reading GSMArena do care. I could never use an apple. Between the ridiculously small battery and the shitty ux, it just doesn’t make sense.

For an example of what Apple os is like, think of newer EV cars like Tesla or ioniq. Inside of these cars is tons of small features that just make you go, “oh, that’s neat. It’s not the most useful or prominent feature but it is nice to have.” Apple os is the opposite. Everywhere you turn just more things making you go “WHY THE FUCK DOESN’T THIS EXIST??? IT’S SO SIMPLE AND EASY AND MAKES MY LIFE SO MUCH EASIER. WHO THE FUCK THOUGHT THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA??!!”

EvokerKing,

There is a setting on Windows that lets you press a button (Ctrl by default) that will circle your mouse and get closer to door where your mouse is.
