Stealing
Recycling bottles found in the trash (at least where a deposit system exists)
Doing odd jobs for small change.

If only SteamOS was made generally available.
And I honestly prefer the non-terminal solutions that are generally in Windows.

Users here generally seem to forget that
1: Not all users are power users
2: Professional software is generally not developed for Linux but either Windows or Mac. Linux is an afterthought
3: Not all programs run as you’d need it to. Wine and Proton can work for single use but I don’t see daily activity going very well with it.

For downvoters on point 3 saying they do it:
I tried the EA launcher with Proton on the SteamDeck. It’s a hacky solution and in general a not supported environment. Good luck getting help from EA if something goes wrong.
This also applies to general work environments: HPE (server brand of HP) for example denies support if it sees a non-HPE product that may interfere with your support case. They ask you to remove it and then send another support file.

I use Win11 on my gaming rig and on my work pc by choice.
Gaming Rig (Ryzen 7 7800X3D):
Desktop environment is a slight downgrade but they are slowly reworking the whole UI. Though I really enjoy to customize my environment to my liking and probably bump more into edge cases than the average joe.
MS becomes more pushy with their subscription models but those can be ignored.
Windows Updates generally work well.

Office Rig (HP Elitebook i5 8th gen):
My laptop needed an upgrade from 8 to 16gb to run more smoothly. Same UI issues but it’s workable.

I like the new explorer though.

On my NAS/home server I use Debian 11 and am pretty happy so far.

Problem is multiple programs + web browser sucking ram.
Wirh 8GB I was continuesly red lining 95% utilization.
VoIP App, multiple tabs and windows of Chrome/Firefox/Edge (what the application is optimized for), Outlook, Teams, Spotify (to stay sane) and misc. other programs quickly suck up 8gb.

Multi profiles is probably a small niche for singles.
I’d probably only expect it with mixed use (work/home) use cases or keeping children off the special stuff and games.

Oatmeal and yoghurt.
You can switch it up with fruits, nuts, syrups (like maple) etc.

My goto is:
Oatmeal, plain yoghurt (3.5%) or greek (10%), passion fruit, apple, maple syrup (if I like it sweet).

This will certainly fill you, has lots of vitamins and depending on how much and what you do is easy to eat.

Havent watched SP but humor changes.
There was a time when joking about racial stuff was funny.
In the earlier days a german sweet called “Schaumkuss” (marshmallow glazed with chocolate) was called a “Negerkuss” (transl.: Nigger’s kiss)
At the time it was appropiate.

Culture and humor is always changing. You could make as many terrorist jokes as you wanted but queue 9/11 and suddenly you had to be careful about the target group and culture.
Europeans would maybe smirk at 9/11 or terrorist joke (maybe not even those since the IS attacks in Paris, Brussel, etc.) but an american would knock you a peg deeper into thr ground.
Also this all depends on the context.

I am not into the whole satire topic beyond the extra3 show in Germany so knowledge of current satire topic was limited.
Interesting to know that the whole 9/11 taboo is slowly being lifted again and processed differently.

I even feel like TWP works better then the now native Firefox translation feature solely due to it allowing to translate any page by either selecting text and right clicking or by clicking on the icon in the adress bar.
Firefox has the button as well but TWP let’s you choose the translation service (I believe it’s google, deepl and 1 or 2 other services)

Way too easy to get malware and it scans your whole pc for easy to aquire passwords.
If it’s safely encrypted, go for it but I suspect it isnt.

Ist ziemlich wichtig in den Jobs, in denen ein Außeneinsatz möglich ist.
Wir haben 2 Kollegen die nicht in der Lage sind zu fahren und alle anderen haben ihre eigene Aufgaben oder sind maßlos überqualifiziert für ein Lieferjob aber aktuell frei.
So lange du also 100% keinen Job hast, der dich ermächtigt an einer einzigen Position im Büro zu sitzen, würde ich es net liegen lassen.

Und das sage ich als jemand der Autofahren nicht mag.

Soziales Jahr ist Praktikum+ mit mehr Gehalt.
Würde die Lebenszeit eher anders verarbeiten wenn einem das Soziale oder Gemeinschaftliche oder Verkürzung der Wartedauer für die Uni nicht gerade wichtig ist.

I have 2 foil art pictures. Afaik it’s a toner print on cardstock and then a foil is baked on the paper and peeled leaving only the foil on the parts where the toner was earlier.
One is a moon in silver holographic and another is an entry ticket to “space” with a gold foil print

Oh yeah. How secure is a local encrypted password safe that is synced via things like Dropbox/OneDrive/GDrive/Syncthing or Resilio in comparison to something like Bitwarden and 1Password.

I think my knowledge suffices to say that equal to physical security no security is forever safe. At some point a weak point will be exposed.
And if you can get a hand on encrypted content and live long enough with the right ressources and determination you might be able to crack something.

Because afaik it’s all math at some point. Math is logic and logic can be cracked.
