So. If the so-called leaders were serious, they would

  • prohibit private jets right away
  • prohibit cruise ships right away
  • stop luxury yachts same way
  • limit air traffic dramatically
  • make travelling by train really cheap
  • and THEN and only then can they start to encourage people to do something about their lifestyles like travelling less etc.

It's real. Individual action does absolutely nothing.

I made Indian naan for the first time today to go with Baingan Bharta. I love garlic naan in restaurants, so I was pretty excited. The garlic part can be improved, otherwise I'm quite happy with my first time naan ☺️

This week's theme is healing. The God of Healing is but there are other gods who share in a subset of his power. Apollon's son famously brought dead people back to life. Deified after his untimely death by Zeus' thunderbolt, he received a cult of his own, the Temples of Asklepios serving as hospitals. Asklepios had children of his own, among them Panacea (Cure-all), and Hygieia (Health).
But he is not the only healing god associated with Apollon.

Dionysos Hygiates, Dionysos the Dispenser of Health, is Dionysos’ healing aspect. In , he originally titled himself Iatros, (Doctor), but the Pythia of Delphi declared that he is not a doctor, but rather a dispenser of health. Today, the gods of healing are still alive in the Hippocratic Oath:

"I swear by Iatros (the Doctor), and , and , and Panakeia (Panacea), and all the gods and goddesses, that, according to my ability and judgment, I will keep this Oath."

The original oath was written in Ionic Greek, between the fifth and third centuries BCE. It still influences current medical ethics and alternative modern versions of the oath like the Declaration of Geneva.

@Em It is quite common for them to announce their domains and it is also common for Apollon to protect his domains from any siblings taking an interest in them. For example, Hermes was allowed to do divination through pebbles but not the kind of prophecy Apollon and his oracles are known for. There is a similar situation with Athena and Apollon.

Some time ago, I read a story about a GM running a pre-written adventure. This GM decided to tweak the adventure as written, by gender swapping every NPC. His (exclusively male) players found it odd that they only met one man. As the game went on, they became increasingly paranoid that the women were doing something to the men.

It's possible there were book sales but nobody told me 😅

Twitter engagement is shit but I feel like people are still more inclined to click on a link to Patreon or my website or a book because they know me.

I can't back any of this up, though. Book sales are a black box.
